The other morning was very foggy in this swamp. I don’t know if there is any correlation but the number of ‘floaters’ was pretty high.

They are very good at hiding, in fog or rainā¦invisible, so yeah. The good news here was most spotted were young. Maximum size about 4 feet. However, the size of an alligator is very misleading when you see them in water. A trick is to estimate the inches from eyes to nose. Five inches is approximately five feet total length.
