There are times even a Snowy Egret has to ‘up his game’.
The tide was moving fast in this salt marsh, which means the fish are moving by fast too. I watched the Snowy take a few tricks from the Reddish Egret and dance around scaring the fish into moving where he wanted them.
Sometimes you think they are clueless and other times they impress the heck out of me.

Clueless one day, brilliant the next, unfortunately, I’ve seen that dichotomy play out in humans… usually involves alcohol on the not so brilliant day hehehe.
