Taken at a local swamp first thing in the morning. One of the best spots for early images is just as the trail enters the wetlands. It’s great for light. Of course the Heron and Egrets need to cooperate by being there too.
On this particular morning the area was very busy.

Spring / Summer the sun shines across the open water part of this swamp making for some great shots if you can get there at sunrise. It’s private property and we need to get a pass code to open the gates ourselves in the AM. The swamp is part of an old plantation dating back to the early 1700’s.

😁, thanks. For a few weeks the light is perfect for this in the local swamp. After that you walk out of the woods and you are blinded ! Good old southern sun.
