Early Morning From A Marsh Dike

Looking in this direction, over the horizon, is the coast and Atlantic. From here cuts run through the marshes to the sea that allow the tide to flow right up to this dike. The high tide can raise the level enough to allow coastal Dolphin to navigate to this spot, about 15 miles inland.

I’m pretty sure rising sea levels will change how this all looks.

The cloud color only lasted a few minutes however we were here to catch it.

    1. Thank you 😁. I walked along the dikes that morning just shooting wide. Most images were nothing special, a few came out nice. I don’t use my big 600 now so I’m taking different gear out, and looking for other options. 😁.
