The last few days around the local swamps and marshes the big Herons have been really good to me.

Today I struck out at an Eagle spot, however not far from there a Great Blue caught a water snake just off the trail. Unlike fish a snake is not eaten right away, there can’t be any chance it’s still alive.

This was one of the first shots taken. I needed a Monochrome image to post on social media and opted for this one. Deja Vue, I’m already falling behind on photographs.
