After starting out walking along a marsh dirt road, and shooting sunrise, we decided to try our luck towards the far dikes. A good spot since you can drive there LOL.

At first nothing. Suddenly two Tricolors jumped from the reeds and began to chase each other. I had a mid sized lens and struggled for a flight shot. Basically I spun in a circle, nothing to show for it.

This Heron dropped down on the trunk bars close to me. I think he was more concerned with the other Heron.

It was very nice of him to give me all these poses.
