I didn’t think there was any type of shot available with this Egret. I couldn’t get any angles, or I was standing in a bright blinding area where I couldn’t see. Finally he flew off.
However he didn’t go far, dropping down on the waters edge. Even a good pose on an old limb. In a few steps the spot for me finally happened.
I prefer wider photographs like this. You can actually see a bit of the swamp for perspective.
