It’s that time of year when the Osprey are working the marshes, and the Eagles are working the Osprey. I must say I have seen Osprey usually keep their fish from the Bald Eagles.
At the large marsh in Donnelley WMA Osprey have started to sit in the trees right over the main dike road. In good light it gives a nice opportunity.
I really thought he was going to fly right over me so I held back for that one extra second. He didn’t and I settled for below.

I saw my last Osprey a couple weeks ago, an immature still making its way south! Missing them already here!
They have arrived here 😁. BTW, many WP blogs are suddenly blocking likes and comments. Probably half of the posts I see in Reader are now locked.
