This is a fairly young Spoonbill that has been keeping company with a group of White ibis. I find him in the big Live Oaks at the old cemeteries. As the temperature drops he will likely shift south with the Ibis.
He has nice healthy coloring so he he must like the Ibis.

Thanks. They are really pretty, adults have even more colors. Only one spot in the Lowcountry where they are nesting. I think they have only been here for around 7 years. From South America and now Florida breeding places.
