I was up and out on my own this morning, I admit to waiting until the sun warmed things. Yesterday was cool, today near summer.
Alligators don’t like the cold and then get a sudden warmer day they take full advantage of it.
I found these gators competing for the same dry rocks. Not knowing what the morning would offer I spent extra time walking around the bank and watching them.
This is the slow time of year and as usual the Alligators can be relied upon for some photo ops. No going home empty handed.
Gosh, never a dull moment with the gators 🐊 (I am a Canadian northerner — I think the biggest wild critters we have around are polar bears…so seeing these great prehistoric reptiles on a stroll out in the wild would be kinda freaky for me, but they sure are fascinating— at a nice friendly distance…)😉
I might not be too happy about bumping into a Polar Bear either LOL
