A few scenes here, both of wildlife and landscape around the ACE Basin wildlife areas.
First is a view taken from a dike looking down a large marsh. Both a Snowy and Tricolor were in the old dead tree. The usual Alligators were moving around nearby. The marsh is at least two miles long here.

Below is a Great Egret working along the edge of dry reeds and grasses. In some places there is also dry cane. The cane is strong, and sharp. The birds are careful not to land in the brush.

Last is a common resident Tricolored Heron in winter feathers. We see them often here in the fall and winter. Spring and summer they move off into the rookeries or swamps.
