Today started with dull light, not at all what was forecast. We purposely waited for today and more light. The sun finally did come out, some glare but good for the most part.

The tide was out in this morning giving the birds plenty of places to wade through and fish. This Great Blue stayed right along the salt marsh edge as the tide came in.

Most of the time he was completely focused on the job of fishing.

We stayed back on a dike giving the bird space passing nearby to shoot then off looking for other opportunities.
