One of the ponds nearby, which has the normal water levels, now attracts smaller ‘shore’ birds previously living in the bigger marshlands. Brush and grass block the sides, however a few open spots can be found.
One of those openings gave me a clear view of the Yellowlegs below.

I almost walked past the bird following a small flock on unknowns. Thankfully rule 101 kicked in and I took the shot.
