I know swamps should be dark. But just a little help here would have been nice.
This is a good sign though. The hawks are beginning to pair up. There will be more chances.

Always liked the rich red/auburn colors of the red-shouldered.
I have found the color varies by region. Here they have this deeper coloring. The Florida swamp Redshoulders have much less. Almost drab.
