These Spoonbills were traveling together all in a line, so that’s how it’s formatted.
This Spoonbill wanted to get a little lower on the tree. There also wasn’t room for error. Other birds were getting a little angry at each, and losing your place here could be a problem.
He very carefully inched down to the next branch. Very slowly too.

One of those quick shots taken when a little movement is spotted. The marshes are large so even with 500 / 600 mm lens you can grab a landscape type shot.
While out looking for the Storks and Spoonbills I found this Egret sitting out in the brush. One of those little things that remind me of why we do this.

This is a juvenile Tricolored, the brown shades have not turned slate yet. It’s a good example of their coloring.
This was not the best place to photograph him, much to sunny and water glare. However it did show off his head and neck variations.
