Through out this old cemetery there are burial sites for sailors and soldiers from the civil war. The (controversial) battle flag can be there, most times it is the South Carolina CSA state flag.
The graves are not in the best condition but they are maintained.
From a photographic perspective these sites can make a haunting image.
I love to use black and white for images like this.
Think of this as an 1800’s storage locker.

These will have to be my last sunrise photographs for a while. Rain and clouds in the forecast, and it is winter. A sub-tropical winter, but still gets chilly at this hour.
