So, I have found what a Pelican considers to be an all you can eat buffet….. Fishing Boats.

It makes perfect sense! It’s also a great place to photograph them without too much work.

These birds flew up and down the piers working the ships. When tired, or not hungry, they flopped down somewhere and took a nap.

Lost And Found (2)

I’m finding the volume and frequency that we shoot push photographs into the hard drive black hole. Some should be included somewhere in the portfolio, but due to a similar image just don’t make it. The Osprey and Eagle photos here are a good example of an image that was skipped because the next in the series shot was a little different.

I published a ‘Lost and Found’ page a few months ago, and here is another…

Bald Eagle on the Connecticut River. A good example of having taken several photos and having to choose which to publish. This time comparing the different photos I have no idea why one was selected and several others discarded.

Maybe a Willet or Godwit running along the shore.

This will probably not be the last time I find photographs I think should have been published.
