Dolphins Working Together

When I first took this shot I had assumed it was an adult with her calf. While it still might have been they are very close to each other in size.

Just a few moments later a group of Dolphin circled and chased a school of fish so I think it more likely they were starting to herd fish together.

This bird calmly stood around Mary’s Pond in Bear Island WMA.

There were at least another 25 Spoonbills wandering all around the area but he saw no reason to follow. Food appeared plentiful right where he was.

Storks Flocking In A Marsh

These images are all about the environment which made the shots. Mixed in with the Storks was a single Snowy Egret.

The gold glow here was from the yellowing grasses along the open waters edge.
