Thanks so much. I have shot other scenes near there and the colors can be nice. The adult Anhinga was perfect being a female. They have the brown ‘fuzzy’ neck. Males are all black and get lost in light.

What struck me with this is the strongly webbed feet. With your heron and egret photos its always the big long claws that get my attention.
Yes, the feet! They fish and swim under water really fast. It does not help them on land or branches though. They make do, but can be very ungainly. I have seen more than one fall out of a tree.
