These were tough shots. Most of what I shot was either out of focus or ruined by the harsh light.
Along a large pond (lake really) in the marshes a huge Pine Tree has an active Osprey nest. It has been there for 3 years that I know of.
A pair have been there again this year. Actually this may be the second pair.
Trying to catch interesting in flight shots means using pin point focus to avoid locking on a branch or limb. Holding a ‘dot’ in the view finder an a flying bird can be a little problematic.
And when I did…the harsh light issues hit.
I did get these as an adult was leaving to fish.
Nice job. I got a film of the bird taking off. The in flight clips didn’t work so well.
