This is one of the few head on angles I like to shoot of these birds in flight. They may be huge birds but they’re really all skin and bones. A direct shot doesn’t work.

This one is off set just enough to actually see the Heron.

Having the swamp bank and cypress trees visible gave it a nice look too I thought.
