Great capture Ted, what lens do you use for these types of shots?
Most of the time I use a Sigma 150-600 C, like here. Sometimes a Canon 100-400 L. I’ve been using the big Sigma since they came out and it does exactly what it should in all weather.
Because I shoot in ‘photographer heaven’ I see and work with others that have every piece of gear there is. Compared to all the long lens around this version catches and keeps focus fastest. I know of only one situation where this lens and body (brand new Nikon 850) had compatibility issues. Most likely needed a patch.
