A slow landing on a Cypress Knee, never moved, and I was standing right there.

This is about the only way I shoot these little guys. I am known for having little patience with them.

The simple background here is water. Cypress Knees, the above ground roots, line the swamp. They make a perfect perch.
Great trap for photographers too. Everybody trips over them, all the time. I’ve never seen anyone fall in the water yet.
Of course since it’s filled with gators…
