This is a decent size Alligator that I had a ‘meeting’ with. And no nothing of any danger at all. It was more about Alligator behavior than anything else.

The local swam over to where I was standing. No hurry just a leisurely approach. The greenery above runs along the swamp bank, you can see he was close. What he wanted was my spot. It was dry and sunny.
I didn’t give it up right away, I took a few photographs. We both started to go in the same direction, me walking, him swimming next to me.

He stopped and watched me. I was paying no attention and grab a few more images like the one above.
Now the funny part. He slapped his tail down, just enough to make a small splash, and swam off in a huff.

He wanted a dry spot and I was just heading in the same direction on the bank. I think he was frustrated with me.
He could have turned around and went back to the first spot instead of getting all #@!&$ with me.
This may be the first time an Alligator had less patience than me.
Great story and photos, very funny! He was feeling cross
Usually they just stare, give a dirty look, and out wait me.
