After shooting these it occurred  to me I never see these smaller Herons in a nesting dispute. Usually they jump around each other only when in a fishing spot.

The Little Blues are settling into this island, hidden from view, and sitting on eggs.

These two wanted the same territory, the usual issue.

And of course it was more noise and puffery than anything else.
