This is the bank of a small island in a swamp. The photographs are another example of looking close to be sure you haven’t missed anything.

Above the obvious place to look is the Alligator floating on the islands edge. However, there is also a fairly large head in the green grasses. I didn’t see him at all when there shooting this.

Same island here just a few meters down. Funny but the Alligator here looks like a big bull frog from this angle. A little off to his left, inside all the brush is a very large, and long, tail. The protruding scales give it away. It’s big but almost invisible.
Again I didn’t see that one either.
Great gator shots! You are making me anxious. I leave Monday for my annual Okefenokee Swamp paddling trip! Should be plenty of alligators as usual. William
