Photographed at what we now call the ‘Alligator Nursery’.

This one was approximately 3 feet (1 meter). Probably the biggest this side of the marshes.

We came across maybe fifty others from this size down to babies. No big adults, we find them on the other side of this area.

Is it really a nursery? No, but we need references to things out here so it’s as good as any.
