It’s a little insulting really. I was so insignificant he just walked out in front of me, took his spot from the middle.
There’s water on either side of this dike road, it’s like a highway. Even so, he should look both ways.
Now here’s the real affront…
Dropped on down, took a deep sigh, settled in.
I wasn’t going there anyway.
