At this point we are greatly outnumbered. Who actually has ownership of the porch is up for debate. Because they were likely born right there our rights may be tenuous.

Sizes vary now with a newer resident being in the ‘big guy’ category. Residency is determined by returning nightly to rest after being outside feeding all day.
Just to make this weirder we went out on the porch last night several times to check on the mid sized ‘guppy net’ sleeper. He did not come home last night. All is normal though, his tail is sticking out from inside the wind chime bell, another favorite sleeping spot.

We now leave a camera out back in case some other critter wanders in. I think Ellen grabbed these shots while having coffee this morning.
How will I know when it’s time for an intervention 😳😳
My mom has one on her carport in Charlotte. We have been there ovet 60 years and this is the first anole ever. I love them
It’s definitely getting warmer, the animals move north, migration is later.
You would know, being out a lot. I keep records on blooming, but have not had time to compare dates.
Our day time temperatures have been about the same, night time no real cooling off now. On this web site I can pick any month for the last 7 years in the Lowcountry and compare activity and species. Results are interesting.
Thanks Ted. Can you include a link?
On the side of bar of the web page is a drop down box to select any month of posts. I use this to see what was happening at that particular month/year
Thanks
