Taken while walking along a dike between a marsh and the Ashley River. Ibis and Egrets were passing us low and fast when I finally found an open spot to pan the birds as they went by.

In the background you can see a few Common Gallinule. They were around in large numbers, as well as Coots.

Ibis can fly fast when they want, usually too fast if you don’t have the right distance between them and the camera.
