Great colors ! the Heron that we know here in Belgium is much more gray in color.
This was taken as the birds were hearing up for mating system. All of them ‘brighten’ up for the big party. 😂. We have a swamp rookery down the road that fills with herons and egret each year. Oh, and of course the Alligators. Birds in the trees, gators waiting down below. Always interesting.
