Spotted this juvenile Little Blue Heron the other morning while testing my new bionic parts. Nothing like stumbling through Cypress Knees in the AM wondering if the stuff is rust proof.

The heron didn’t pay much attention to us at first letting me get a few shots at slow speeds.

I assume he was visiting the rookery down the trail. The bird was too young to breed this year however they still show up each year.
