Since I wasn’t out much this spring Green Heron photographs have been missing here. I also think they may have changed their favorite locations too.
That said, these were shot in a swamp where you could once count on at least getting an opportunity.
He was happy here and not leaving. I was able to get a few different angles.
Finally I left he he stayed around.
I really like encountering Green Herons – a bit of a struggle to get them around here, but was at Sweetwater in Gainesville and never saw so many in one area in my life. Great angles on this set.
This was a spot that always had a few. Less this year I think. Thanks.
