The new ‘dock’ makes me smile every time I pass and find it occupied. This time it was ‘snaggle tooth’ and a turtle.

It’s a good idea for keeping the Alligators off the trail. Also it was tied down near the visitors entrance to a swamp. On this trail there is a gate with a keypad. Visitors to Magnolia Plantation can get a code from the main house kiosk. Everyone always looks for the gators, so here they are (usually).

Looks like something we saw at Brookgreen.
Alligator docks/ramps are common around here. Didn’t know Brookgreen had them too. They can keep the people and gators apart. A win, win.
