This year has been completely different out in the ACE Basin marshes. The water levels have been kept very high by the state rangers, the DNR. It’s all through the area so there has been a change in some environmental plans.

However, a few days ago the waters were let drain… and I missed it. They are back up again. It did shake out the local Alligator enough to have heads, and swimming bodies everywhere.

Maybe next time I’ll get lucky with my timing.
