Some days it’s like a highway out there.
I’ve mentioned before how there are times if you watch a bird you see a pattern, or a flight path. Usually that’s what I see in the rookeries.
The pattern on this day was an entire flock. White Ibis flew from one side of the marsh straight down to feed on the other. And luck would have it I was about 3/4 of the way between them. Plenty of opportunities right where I was standing.
