Thank you. 😃😃 I think they are starting to grow out their spring ‘flowing’ chest feathers. We are dropping into our yearly freeze day(s) which typically slows down the nesting a little while. But they are ready.
Same is happening here. I’ll be interested to see whether a couple slightly-below-freezing nights discourages them, or whether they simply take it in stride.
Given the weather reports I’ll know soon enough.
