I always use a zoom lens here, in fact I no longer own any primes. This house has treasures in every nook and cranny, but you can’t always get all that close. Keeping the building in an 1850’s snapshot is genius. Sometimes you find a chair or standing lamp (or ladder) that’s not period, but everything being ‘as is’ means you can’t take a shot that’s not at least interesting.
Aren’t you ever tempted?
Oh yeah… after walking all around for a few hours my old legs want a break. However I would be banned from every old place in town 😵💫
