Walking by a marsh one day, I heard a wierd crunching sound. Photographer in really big honking boots? Something chewing on a log? Nope, alligator demolishing a turtle. Your big guy was lucky!
We get that out in the marsh. We just call it ‘crunch’. Sometimes it’s big Blue Crabs also. The salt marsh pushed in big crabs, the Alligators love them.
