Most birds change for the better, get all pretty, each mating season. And then there’s the White Ibis.
It look like anyplace not covered in feathers is a bright blood red. I think it’s a bit creepy myself.



I looked at these, and several others in Lightroom, ON1, StoneViewer, and Windows. It’s official. Creepy red is the new Ibis.
I would say they look like “odd storks” 😄
Oh yes 😂. Years ago North American storks (Wood Stork) were called the ‘Wood Ibis’.

Just like the big storks, you get them in a large flock and all hell breaks loose. Almost in the same places as the storks I photographed last week a large group of Ibis moved in. Same darn thing. Must be something in the water 😂
