A Great Egret walking through a cut in a salt marsh.

The water is low here, I think it was dead low tide.

What we had was wet tidal marsh, late morning. It could have been worse, like high noon. Sun glare is the image killer here.

I did enough to save the photograph by making a B&W image and using DxO Silver Efex. The software only does B&W and it’s a case of doing one thing, but doing is well.
