I don’t know much about these little Nuthatch. We always had the White-breasted Nuthatch only.

They’re fairly small, like Chickadee size. They are said to live in pine forests in the Southeaster US. All that fits for right behind my house.

The just seem to come and go. I would think they would be hanging here fulltime.

I will say just like the bigger Nuthatch they are upside down a lot, and as you can see below fly off quick from that position.
