When taking these shots I’m careful not to scare them, not stop them from going about their business (whatever that could be). Most of the Anole are small, however there are a few ‘big guys’ that have been living back here for a while.
These two are fairly small, maybe an inch.

Once in a while we find one inside, usually the porch. We catch them and let them loose out back. A few years ago we had a very clever Anole that could sneak into the porch every night to sleep, then leave late the next morning to hunt bugs. We gave up, let him alone, and this went on for about a year. One day no more green guy 😟
We have a pretty big fenced in back yard between us and the pine woods. Ellen has multiple large arbors, plus pine trees, holly bushes, etc. giving us a great place for all kinds of critters to live. She’s been working it for 10 years so the Anole, birds, and others give us plenty of things to photograph when it’s hot, raining, or I’m stuck with another brace of some kind lol.
