Bees In The Tulip Vines

Bees In The Tulip Vines

I am not a macro photographer, not in close (pun intended).

I keep remembering Ellen’s macro lens, after I’m and about. Not sure it would help though. Maybe a few years ago but I am not flexible enough to be crawling around with the bugs. Besides, where I live bugs are not to be trifled with.

Mid summer our Tulip Vines are filled with big yellow blossoms and plenty of Bees. They also have found the wilting Moon Flowers interesting.

For someone like me these are pretty good small critter images. Nobody was hurt in the process of making these photographs. Using a lens a bit longer helped keep me safe.

  1. I think I would enjoy more macro shooting, but each time I leave the house I have to decide what gear to take and the long glass always wins..thinking as I get older and weaker that decision may change ha
