This Great Blue was along the edge of a swamp area that lead out to a salt marsh. It was the only Heron opportunity that I had all morning. I was patient, waited for an opening, not wanting to ruin what could be good.

I’m happy I grabbed these two quick shots.

The bird slowly walked behind the thick tree trunk… and completely disappeared 😳. There was no where for him to go, but he did.
