A guess is maybe a month. Big birds grow faster than any other animals, or so I’ve been told. Because they can hide in the nests at first it’s hard to tell, but month sounds about right.
Wait until they fledge 😳. They think nothing of testing their wings right over head. Landing on the trails with us is common. They have no fear yet, so a young bird walking up to you happens. 👍
