What is he looking at ??
I gave up waiting. He stood there staring, and nothing ever happened.
Below a Great Blue Heron walked along the edge of the reeds. I expected to see him fish, but like the Little Blue above he too did nothing.
Finally this Little Blue Heron kept the aimless ‘do nothing plan’ in place.

Some days are like this. Lots to see, but nothing happening.
I know what you mean about waiting and nothing happening. I located the heron that I stalk sitting on a little spot in the river and sat and waited for it to do something. It opened its eyes a couple of times but that was about it. I finally gave up.
LOL, happens more often than we care to admit 😀.
