This is a pretty amazing sight. Me and a thousand Egrets. Not another human being for miles. Any sounds were drowned by a howling wind.
These Egrets were surrounded by marsh, getting much closer was not possible. Besides I really didn’t want to scare or intrude on their resting.

I almost wanted to point and yell ‘Look’. It was a complete solo day so there was nobody to tell LOL.
Actually being way out there on your own is breath taking, and a little creepy. This is a place where things really do ‘go bump in the night’.
