I have been surprised by the number of White Ibis flocking in the marshes. I always think of them being along the beaches in fall.

Adding the numbers of Ibis to all the Egrets is probably why there are thousands together at any one time.

For photographs like these I try to isolate a few within the larger flying flocks. Sometimes it works, others I get so many in a shot it’s unusable.
