The marsh was almost dry when I took this shot. Egrets commonly sit of the trunks when they are open watching the water flow through. Easy to spot fish.
No water here now, but he sat and stared for a long time.

I think he needs a hug. Looks a little bit lost.
Not sure it would help, Snowy Egret are notorious for a bad attitude.
